Thousands of people descended on last year's event, and more are expected for 2015.

The festival takes place from August 28 to 31, at the West Mid Showground, Shrewsbury.

Alan Surtees, festival director, said that adult day tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, have all sold out, although youth/children's tickets are still available for the days, as well as day tickets for the Monday.

He said: "We are absolutely delighted that ticket sales have been so strong and we are seeing people returning to the festival year after year.

"Those who have been to Shrewsbury know that as well as four days of amazing music, dance and other activities, there's a certain magic about the festival that just makes it a great place to be. That feeling coupled with an eclectic line up featuring the best in folk, roots, acoustic and world music from across the world has made it the place to be this August Bank Holiday."

The festival features a top line-up, including The Richard Thompson Electric Trio, La Bottine Souriante, Sharon Shannon, Oysterband, and Kate Rusby.

There will be four music stages, a dance tent and more than 100 workshops.

This year's line-up also includes, Reluctant Ramblers, Peatbog Faeries, Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Nancy Kerr and the Sweet Visitor Band, Mawkin, False Lights and festival patron Steve Knightley from Show of Hands.
