Two taken to hospital after A5 crash

Two men were taken to hospital following a crash on the A5 near Oswestry today.

Police and ambulances were called to the Halton roundabout, near Chirk, at about 11.20am.

A spokesman for North Wales Police said the crash involved a red Proton and a silver Volvo.

He said: "Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Both needed recovery, which led to delays on the road.

"The two men were taken to hospital with non-serious injuries."

One of the cars was recovered at about 1.25pm.
