Telford homeowners threatened with knife after disturbing burglar

Jewellery along with a mobile phone and tablet were taken from a Telford home after the owners were threatened with a knife.

The burglary happened on St Christopher's Way in Malinslee, when the homeowners returned to find a man in their house.

The man threatened them with a knife before leaving through the front door.

During the burglary a quantity of jewellery including two Pandora bracelets with a total of 17 charms were taken as well as a Micheal Kors watch and a white gold ring.

A tablet computer, and a Nokia Lumia phone were also taken. A TV was unplugged and moved but not taken.

The offender is described as a white man, approximately 20-30, of slim build and around five foot eight to nine inches.

He was wearing a dark beanie hat, dark jeans, dark trousers, and his face was covered.

The incident happened on Saturday at around 8pm.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time, or who may be offered the above items for sale to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 700 of 21st March.
