Gallery: CCTV images released after pair rob Telford bookies

CCTV images have been released after two men threatened a Telford betting shop worker with a knife.

Two men entered the Betfred Shop in Russell Square, Madeley, and threatened the cashier before making off with cash.

The men, who are described as white, were dressed in black and wearing balaclavas.

DC Andrew Dawson, the investigating officer, said: "We know these aren't the clearest CCTV images, but we hope releasing them jogs somebody's memory of who may know these men or saw them in the area at the time.

"This is a very serious offence and we are eager to trace those responsible and bring them to justice."

The armed robbery happened shortly after 9pm on Monday, February 16.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious, or has any information which would help to identify the men pictured, is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 0621S 160215.
