Boy taken to hospital after colliding with bike in Shrewsbury

Ambulance crews were called to a busy Shrewsbury road to treat a teenager with an arm injury.

The teenage boy had been involved in a collision with a bicycle on the A5112 Telford Way at about 3.50pm this afternoon.

Paramedics treated him on the scene for a suspected broken arm before he was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

The accident caused a build up of traffic along the road, between Ditherington Road and Woodcote Way.
