Search for Shropshire attacker in Christmas jumper

A man in a Christmas jumper is being hunted by police after he broke someone's jaw in two places in a Shropshire town.

The jumper-wearing attacker punched a man in the face in the early hours of the morning at the junction of Willow Street and Church Street, in Oswestry town centre.

Pc Scott Harrower from Oswestry's safer neighbourhood team said it happened at about 2am on Sunday, December 21.

"The attack happened near to the HSBC bank, The Cross.

"The attacker was described as a male in his twenties with olive skin. He was wearing a red Xmas style jumper."
