The girl got stuck in a baby swing in Madeley, Telford, at about 2pm near Upper Road.

A fire crew from Tweedale was called to the scene and firefighters released the girl.

It is believed the crew took apart the swing to let the girl out, and she was released by 2.20pm.

It comes after a 10-year-old girl got trapped in a baby swing in Spring Gardens in Shrewsbury last month. At the time firefighters warned children to be careful playing on swings not designed for them.
