Power cut hits 250 Telford homes

A power cut left more than 250 homes in the dark for over three hours.

A total of 255 houses in The Rock area of Telford were affected by a problem at Mossey Bank sub station.

The electricity went off at 3.40pm yesterday and was restored to all but 50 houses by 7pm.

The remaining 50 did not have power until around 9pm.

The fault is under investigation by Western Power Distribution.
