Little Princess, Bananas in Pyjamas, and Noddy and Tessie Bear all made an appearance at the children's show at Telford's Oakengates Theatre that saw youngsters sing and dance along to well-known songs.

And with Channel 5's Milkshake presenters Curtis Angus and Olivia Birchenough running the show, the team were making preparations for Milkshake Monkey's surprise birthday party.

Thankfully, Shropshire's youngsters knew just what to do when Milkshake Monkey went missing, and got him back just in time for yesterday's party.

But two boys got an extra treat after winning the meet and greet drawing competition.

Bradley Gordon, three, and brother Ramsey, two were able to meet all their favourite characters after the show.

Mum Sarah, 30, or Brandsfarm Way in Telford, said: "They really enjoyed it.

"They were so pleased to win the meet and greet and thought the show was great.

"We really enjoyed it too, it was a lot of singing and dancing and was very interactive which was brilliant.

"The boys drew pictures – Bradley drew Fireman Sam and Ramsey drew George from Peppa Pig."

Other characters at the shows on Sunday included Pip from Pip Ahoy! Bello from Jelly Jamm, Chloe from Chloe's Closet, Tommy and Tallulah from Tickety Toc, and Toby and Dolores from Toby's Travelling Circus.
