It comes just a week after members of Unite held two days of strike action at the site in Telford as part of an ongoing pay dispute.

About 300 workers and Unite union members at Defence Support Group downed tools in support of the union's claim to an eight per cent pay rise offer.

Workers at MoD Donnington in Telford have now called a public meeting at Old Fighting Cocks pub, in Oakengates from 8pm tomorrow.

Unite spokesman Brett Davis said: "We have received messages of support from around the country and have had tremendous support from trade unionists and anti-austerity groups in Telford and Shropshire. The meeting is open to anyone who wants to help us fight for decent pay and is a great opportunity to discuss the next stage of our campaign."
