Man stabbed in each leg in Shrewsbury attack
A man was stabbed in each leg in a street attack. The victim, in his 30s, was attacked in Maesbrook Road, Shrewsbury.
Police today said they believe they know the identity of two male suspects but called for witnesses to come forward.
Police say anyone in the area would have noticed the commotion during the attack on Friday at 5pm.
Ben Smith, of West Mercia Police, said: "The wounds were considered superficial and have been treated and the victim is thought to be OK. It is not known why this individual may have been targeted.
"No one has been arrested but we have two male suspects and inquiries are ongoing to locate them.
"We are treating the incident with an open mind. But we've got an idea of who these suspects are and it may not be long before we speak to them. We are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to call. It would have been quite clear there had been quite a commotion."
Anyone with any information should call police on 101 quoting incident reference 541S of the October 17.
