September 10, 11, 12 - it's happy birthday to you, you and you!

There's no danger of Christina and David Morton forgetting their three children's birthdays.  That's because their daughters Katlyn and Sarah and baby son Ryan's big days fall on consecutive days.

Eldest Katlyn celebrated her ninth birthday on September 12, while three-year-old Sarah's birthday is on September 10.

Little Ryan completed the set when he was born at a healthy 8lbs 12 oz less than two weeks ago – on September 11.

It promises to make September a busy – and expensive – month for the family, from McCormack Drive in Shawbirch, Telford.

Christina and David have already started considering plans to cope with the festivities so close together, and plan to hold one big party for all three every year.

Christina, 33, said: "It was a complete shock and it makes September a really expensive month for us.

"Ryan was due on August 31, Sarah was due on September 5 and Katlyn was expected on September 10.

"We never would have thought they'd be born on the 10th,11th and 12th – it's amazing."

Stay-at-home mum Christina missed Sarah's birthday this year as she was in labour with Ryan, so the family will hold a big celebration next month.

Christina said: "It was sad that I missed Sarah's birthday this year so we want to celebrate that and also to mark the birth of our son Ryan.

"The family were so shocked when Ryan was born on that date – it's a great way to remember everyone's birthdays."

Katlyn attends Dothill Primary School while her sister Sarah goes to Little Chicks Nursery in Shawbirch.

Dad David, 31, who cares for his wife at home to help her with her epilepsy, said Ryan's sisters were "thrilled" that their brother was born so close to their birthdays.

All three youngsters were born at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
