Letter: Controlled by tyrants
With much of the Middle East tearing itself apart and threatening to spread the conflict to Britain, we can blame Blair and Bush for toppling Saddam Hussein who, albeit brutally, kept the warring factions and religious fanatics in order in a country then at peace.

Like removing Gaddafi from power, leaving Libya in chaotic revolution, the equally doomed "Arab Spring" brought nothing but chaos, to people not used to our ideas of democracy.
And our idiot Government is reducing the armed forces at the very time they may be needed most, to defend our land from the enemy at the gate, and the "sleepers" already here.
