Even when he was just two years old, Jack Price's mum and dad couldn't stop him from dancing around to the radio.

And now at the age of six, young Jack has been crowned world champion street dancer at an international competition.

Jack, who attends Whitchurch Infants School, qualified for the global competition after winning regional and national competitions.

And at the UDO World Street Dance Championships earlier this month, he was finally crowned best in the world for his age group.

His proud mother Emma Price said: "It's fantastic watching him, we are just so proud of him.

"He did absolutely amazingly at the competitions - it was quite intimidating because there were thousands of people watching.

"But he's a natural. When the music comes on we can't get him to stand still, he's always had rhythm since he was really young."

Jack attends dance schools and clubs in the area, which help him to improve all the time - and he can't get enough of it.

He said: "It's the style of dancing, it's just really good.

"The competition was amazing, it's the best.

"I'll definitely do it again, we're going to keep going for the world!"

Mrs Price said that Jack is now looking forward to taking part in the competitions each year, going into a higher standard group each time.

The street dancer has also auditioned for Britain's Got Talent, and despite two failed attempts, he's keen to keep on trying.

Mrs Price said: "He's going to keep going back, because he's impressing them but his age is a bit of an issue I think.

"They keep telling him to come back so he will - but it's such a tough competition to get into."
