Three injured in four vehicle crash in North Shropshire

Three people – including one child – were taken to hospital following an accident involving four vehicles in a village in Shropshire.

The accident happened on the A528 in Harmer Hill, near Wem, at about 11.15am today.

Two women, one in their 20s and one in their 50s, and a six-year-old boy were taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

The accident caused the road to be closed for a short time and queuing traffic in both directions at the B5476 Wem Road junction.
