West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the RAF Museum in Cosford on Sunday during the large model aircraft rally.

The man, understood to have been a steward, suffered injuries to his back and was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital, in Telford.

Chris Kowalik, ambulance service spokesman, said: "We sent an advanced community paramedic and an ambulance crew and took a patient, a man in his 30s, to the Princess Royal Hospital. He had back pain but was already walking around when we got there and he appeared to have been hit by a model aircraft."

Emergency services were at the scene for about 25 minutes.
