£1,300 designer watch stolen in Shropshire burglary

A watch, worth almost £1,300, has been stolen in a burglary in Shropshire.

The Tag Heuer F1 designer watch was stolen from the property in Shawbury. No other items are believed to have been taken.

West Mercia Police believe the burglary took place between 8.45am and 5pm on Wednesday.

A spokesman said: "We are reminding householders to ensure their homes are secure by preventing access being gained by locking doors and accessible windows.

"We would like to speak to a man who was seen in the area at around 12pm wearing tracksuit bottoms and riding a motorcycle, or anyone who saw him or who has been offered a watch for sale."

Anyone who has information for West Mercia Police should call the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident 535 of 16th July 2014, or pass details on anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
