Glider crashes on the Long Mynd
A glider crashed on the Long Mynd in Shropshire today.

The glider was understood to have crashed during take-off at the landmark near Church Stretton.
Emergency services were called out to the Midland Gliding Club at the top of the Burway.
The pilot was said to have been trapped but was freed and treated by paramedics.
Air accident investigators have been informed of the incident.
