Crews cut two free after car overturns in Munslow

Two people had to be cut from their car after it overturned in a village.

The accident happened on the B4368 in Munslow, near Craven Arms, just before 7pm yesterday.

Fire crews were called to the scene, where they released the two people who were trapped following the accident.

Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service treated the pair for minor injuries. The scene was cleared shortly after 7.30pm.

Two cars had earlier collided on the A5 at Queen's Head, near Oswestry.

The two drivers were checked over at the scene by paramedics following the crash shortly before 6pm, but suffered minor injuries only.

Two fire crews were called to the scene, as were officers from West Mercia Police. The road was cleared within 15 minutes.
