Shrewsbury car park 'package' sparks drug alert
Police were called to a superstore in Shrewsbury today amid fears of a drugs offence.

Two cars parked side-by-side on the Tesco car park in the Whitchurch Road sparked concern when a "package" was seen to be passed from one to the other.
However, when officers searched the cars nothing was found.
The incident happened at 7.40am today.
A police spokesman said that four officers went to the car park and spoke to the occupants of the cars. A search was carried out and nothing was found.
