Lioncourt Homes Limited wants to build on land at Lawton Farm Way, Leegomery.

The site is currently used by patients visiting the surgery, the local centre and by parents dropping off and collecting children at Apley Wood Primary School .

An empty commercial building on the site would be knocked down to make way for13 two-bed and 14 three-bed houses. The plans submitted to Telford & Wrekin Council also include garages, roads, sewers and replacement parking for the surgery.

The authority has had three letters from residents raising concerns including fears it would exacerbate traffic problems.

The council's planning committee will consider the application on Wednesday.
