Huge crowd for Cosford Air Show
Advance ticket sales for this weekend's 75th Anniversary Air Show at RAF Cosford are double the number sold this time last year, organisers said today.
Online sales have soared from last year's 6,096 to 14,846, and some ticket outlets have sold out completely.
Organisers say there are still some available but admission at the gates will be limited.
They are expecting more than 50,000 for Sunday's event and warn that car parks could reach capacity. Organisers are urging people to consider using the trains to get to Cosford.
Air Show spokesman Amanda Butcher said: "With the great British weather finally emerging this week, we are preparing for potentially the largest Air Show we've held over recent years."
