Bosses at the New Fairholme care home, being built in Shrewsbury Road in Oswestry, say the jobs will be both part and full time.

The New Fairholme will replace the existing care home in Morda Road and it is hoped the new building, which will be run by Coverage Care Services, will be open by the spring.

Chief executive David Coull said: "New Fairholme will employ more than 100 people when it is fully operational following its April opening.

"We are creating up to 50 new full and part-time nursing, care and ancilliary jobs, and the existing staff from our Fairholme home in Morda Road will also transfer to New Fairholme."
