Blists Hill to feature in BBC series

Blists Hill Victorian Town will make an appearance in BBC1’s History of The World series on Sunday at 9pm.

In the seventh episode of this eight-part series, Andrew Marr tells how Britain’s Industrial Revolution created the modern world. Blists Hill is used as a backdrop to illustrate the sweeping changes of the revolution.

Steve Miller, chief executive of Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, said: “It was a great privilege to welcome the BBC crew.”
