Pair shaken by attempted theft in Telford

A 45-year-old woman and her teenage daughter were left shaken after a man tried to rob them as they sat in their car in Telford.

It happened yesterday in Birchdale Avenue, Wrockwardine Wood at around 8.15pm.

He smashed a window of their BMW car but ran off when the woman accelerated the engine.
