School bus in crash with car near Shrewsbury
Forty schoolchildren escaped uninjured when their school bus was involved in a crash near Much Wenlock today.
The coach was travelling along Sheinton Road, in Homer, when the accident happened at around 8.45am.
The children were taken off the bus following the crash, which also involved a car, and were moved into the nearby William Brookes School.
A female passenger was also released from the bus before the arrival of the fire service.
Appliances from Much Wenlock, Telford, a rescue tender from Wellington and a fire officer from Shrewsbury attended to make the area safe.
