Shropshire girl rescued in sea fainting drama
A teenage girl from Shropshire had to be rescued from the sea by lifeguards off the Welsh coast after fainting while bodyboarding with her mother.
The 18-year-old from Church Stretton, who has not been named, was saved by RNLI lifeguards after she lost consciousness in the water in the sea off Borth in mid-Wales.
The girl was pulled to shore by her mother and the lifeguards after getting into difficulties on Monday afternoon, before being taken to hospital in Aberystwyth.
