Travellers set up camp at Telford estate

A group of travellers has set up camp at a Telford industrial estate. The travellers moved onto Halesfield 20 on Friday, sparking complaints from the public.

Telford & Wrekin Council officers have started the legal proceedings to remove the travellers from the site near Madeley.

Since the group moved on to the site residents have complained that rubbish is starting to pile up in the area.

The council has to apply for a court date to seek an order to evict the travellers.
