Boy assaulted in Shrewsbury park

A 12-year-old boy was pinned to the ground and assaulted by masked youths in a park in Shrewsbury – just weeks after security fencing was installed.

The two youths pushed the boy to the floor and pinned him down in the attack at Monkmoor Recreation Ground on Sunday afternoon. Call police on 101.
