Four teenagers arrested in connection with the murder of a Shropshire factory worker were still being questioned today.

Bridgnorth Aluminium worker Tom Kirwan was stabbed to death outside a nightclub in Wolverhampton earlier this month.

Three 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were arrested in Wolverhampton and Dudley yesterday.

Detectives have until 8pm today to decide whether to charge, bail, or release without charge the four men.

If they want to continue questioning them, officers will have to make an application to the magistrates court.

Wolves fan Mr Kirwan, 23, was knifed in the chest outside Uberra nightclub, in Wednesfield Road, on July 8, during a night out with friends after trouble spilled out on to the street.

He suffered multiple stab wounds.
