Mylene, who split from husband Graham Quinn in April after just six months, joined Dr Who star John Barrowman and visited a village auction house.
And the trip certainly put the smile back on Ms Klass’s face as she laughed and joked with song and dance star Mr Barrowman, 45.
Both stars had chosen five items each to be sold off at Cooper Barrington, in Froncysyllte, for the programme.
About 50 antiques hunters were at the auction yesterday and there were also about 100 people bidding online.
Mr Barrowman said the day went ‘brilliantly’ and he thought everyone at the auction house was fantastic.
The pair first browsed the lots, one of which being an old organ which former Hear’say singer Ms Klass took an interest in.
She took the opportunity to entertain punters on the organ by playing If I were the Only Girl in the World while Mr Barrowman sang along.
Auctioneer Peter Worthington started the auction at about 11am with a camera crew filming the action.
Profits from the lots, which included a Dr Who Captain Jack Harkness figure signed by Mr Barrowman and a Armand Marseille bisque-headed doll from 1910, will be donated to Children in Need.
The episode will be screened in the autumn.
