Man cut free from Bridgnorth crash car

A man had to be cut free from a car after a crash on the outskirts of Bridgnorth this afternoon.

An elderly woman was also treated for shock after the accident on the A458 Wenlock Road.

It happened near the livestock market at Tasley shortly before 1pm.

Firefighters from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock Fire Stations attended.

Richard Ewels, West Mercia Police spokesman, said the accident involved a Toyota and a Land Rover. He added: “There are no reports of any serious injuries.”

A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue service said they cut free a man, who was not believed to be injured, from one of the cars to make it easier to get him out.
