Fans enjoyed the first part of an Essex invasion of Shropshire this weekend as reality star James Argent dropped in.
The leading character in hit ITV2 show The Only Way is Essex was at Club Crush in Central Square, Telford last night to meet with fans.
The club opened from 9pm as clubbers prepared for his arrival, with ‘Arg’ appearing on stage around midnight. He chatted with fans and posed for photographs as part of the appearance.

Writing on Twitter in the early hours of this morning, he told his 800,000 followers: “Had a wicked night.”
Argent has been one of the mainstays of The Only Way is Essex, first appearing in the show as the best friend of leading character Mark Wright before gradually taking a greater part in the programme.
He is not the only star of the show to be making his way to the county this weekend, as Joey Essex will be appearing in Shrewsbury tonight.
Joey will be meeting fans at the Onyx and Blu nightclub in Raven Meadows this evening. It will be the star’s second visit to Shropshire in recent months, as he appeared at the Vox Club in Telford where he was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans in the run-up ton Christmas.
The county has had something of invasion by stars of The Only Way is Essex recently, with Arg and Joey’s fellow cast member Mario Falcone also popping into the Pussycats Club in Telford in February.

I can hardly contain my excitement. Another big star in town! We are so lucky that he can spare time from his monumental film, stage and TV career to visit little old Shropshire. Please tell us when his memoirs are coming out, I'd queue all night to buy a copy.

The Only Way Is To Unplug It
Every picture tells a story. The one on the right is either wondering who he is or whether she's remembered to turn the oven off. The one in the middle can't understand why he isn't recognised in his own living room. The one on the left clearly doesn't know who either of them are but quite likes the wallpaper. Meanwhile the one posting this sees the whole cult of 'celebrity' for the vacuous waste of electricity that it surely is.

Honestly what is the big deal, why feel the need to moan? I neither watch TOWIE or go to Crush but people do and enjoyed seeing him. Are your lives that sad and bitter you have to whinge on here over something that really doesn't concern you?!
