Aga plans to shed 45 jobs

Traditional cooker maker Aga plans to shed 45 jobs across the country, with some at its bases in Shropshire under threat, it emerged this afternoon.
The company said consultation was now going on to try to reduce the number of actual job losses.
A spokeswoman said it was impossible to quantify at this stage how many posts might be at risk at the head office in Ketley or the foundry site in Coalbrookdale.
