Arsonists set fire to bedroom at Telford home

Arsonists set fire to the bedroom of a Telford home while the owner was out, police said today.
Officers are treating the blaze at Spring Meadow, Sutton Hill, as suspicious, after it was started deliberately between noon and 1pm on Tuesday.
Chris Ammonds, spokesman for Telford police, said at least £500 damage was caused, adding: “In the past the house has suffered criminal damage and therefore police are keen to establish whether this fire is linked to any previous incidents.”
Call West Mercia Police on 101.
