Vandalism at Telford church
Wednesday 1st February 2012, 10:59AM GMT.
Vandals broke into a church in Telford and smashed crockery in the kitchen.
Police said security cages were also ripped down from the windows of The New Testament Church in Holyhead Road, Ketley, and glass smashed to allow the yobs to get in.
They caused about £300 damage.
Spokeswoman Denise Wakefield said the damage was discovered when people turned up for morning worship on Sunday.
“The break-in is believed to have happened between 9am on Wednesday and Sunday.”
