Accused bailed over Whitchurch co-op ram raid

A 28-year-old man accused of ram raiding the Co-op store in Whitchurch and stealing a cash machine containing £59,000 appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Carl Cavanagh, from Liverpool, did not enter a plea to the burglary charge. He was granted unconditional bail until March 8 for committal to crown court.
