Ladies in Whitchurch are hoping to form what is believed to be the town’s first ever branch of the Women’s Institute.
About 20 women have formed the group in response to growing demand and the first meeting will be at the Beech Tree Centre inside Whitchurch Community Hospital on January 9 at 7.30pm.
Judy Routledge, Whitchurch WI’s president, said there hadn’t been a town group before.
