Ludlow hospital go-ahead

Work on Ludlow’s new £27 million hospital can now begin after final approval was granted by Shropshire planning chiefs.
The hospital and two GP surgeries will be built on Ludlow Eco-Business Park.
It is hoped work will start next year and the new hospital, which will replace the town’s existing community hospital on Gravel Hill, will be open by 2014.
