Teen beauty spot drinkers are ramblers, not rebels

This photo is showing its age but is nevertheless interesting. It was loaned to us by Nigel Walters, of St Martins, who says: “This is one of the oldest photos I have. “It was given to me by an elderly couple from St Martins, John and Betty Harris. The person on the right is Richard Ellis, known as Dick Ellis, who was Betty’s granddad. He was born in Maesbury in 1870. She doesn’t know who the person on the left is.” The writing on the vehicle reads: A&A Peate, Maesbury Hall Mill, Oswestry.
