£105,000 Lotto prize in Shropshire is unclaimed
Thursday 15th December 2011, 5:00PM GMT.
A £105,000 National Lottery prize which was won on a ticket bought in Shropshire has still not been claimed – nearly three weeks after the draw.
A player matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on November 26, winning £105,561.
But today officials from the National Lottery launched an appeal for people to double check their tickets to see if they had won, after revealing nobody had come forward to claim the prize.
The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 13, 16, 25, 26, 36, 46 and the bonus ball was 15.
The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on May 24 to claim their prize.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life, especially in the lead up to Christmas.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline the money will go to charity.
To make a claim contact National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
