Tuesday 13th December 2011, 10:59AM GMT.

Attingham Park is celebrtating Christmas in 1920s style, with a new video just put up onYouTube.

The video description says: “In 1921 Tom and Teresa, Lord and Lady Berwick, moved into Attingham – at a time of economic hardship, high taxes and low land rents. Money was tight, yet their letters show a couple who cared for the estate and Christmases that were celebrated with the whole community.

“Our Christmas opening is an attempt to recreate this happy time, and their welcoming spirit. We invite you to enjoy Attingham. Merry Christmas from the team!”

The mansion is open from 11am-4pm  until Friday December 23.
