Parents’ fears over Shrewsbury school parking

Parents at a convent school in Shrewsbury fear they will no longer be able to park to pick up their children if planned changes to loading restrictions go ahead a councillor claimed today.

The Highways Agency is consulting on plans to extend loading restrictions to between 3pm and 6pm.

Town council leader Peter Nutting said parents of children at St Winifred’s Convent School in Swan Hill fear they will no longer be able to pick up their children outside the school every day.
