Police in plea over A458 hit and run tragedy

Police today released a picture of a man killed in a in a hit and run incident and appealed to the driver involved: “Hand yourself in.”
Father-of-three Dale McNamee, aged 36, of Harmer Hill, was killed while walking along the A458 between Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth during the early hours on Saturday.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Jamieson said: “The driver needs to contact us now, without further delay. I’m confident we will trace the driver but I strongly advise them to contact us of their own free will.”
DCI Jamieson added: “Mr McNamee’s family is distraught. We are discovering more detail about the circumstances each day and the sooner we are able to speak to the driver the better for all concerned.”
