Police probe Shrewsbury fatal hit and run

Police are attempting to trace the driver of a white van as they continue investigations into a fatal hit and run smash near Shrewsbury.
A man, who has been named locally as 36-year-old Dale McNamee, son of Montgomery Town FC manager Clive, died after being struck by a vehicle shortly after 4am on Saturday in Venus Bank on the A458 between Cound and Cross Houses.
He was confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics after suffering head injuries.
