Police hunt for prisoner Ann Marie Boden
Thursday 24th November 2011, 10:59AM GMT.
Police in Shropshire were today trying to hunt down a 34-year-old woman after she has failed to return to prison after breaching release conditions.
Ann Marie Boden was released from prison after serving about a year of her 28-month sentence imposed at Shrewsbury Crown Court in October 2010 for burglary.
After being released on licence from prison on November 1, she has since been recalled for breaching several conditions.
Boden, also known as Annie, and of no fixed abode, is believed to be in the Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury or Telford areas.
Richard Ewels, a West Mercia Police spokesman, said: “We believe Boden is aware she is wanted and has been evading capture.
“We are urging her to report to a police station without further delay and we are also appealing for any information concerning her whereabouts. Contact Shrewsbury police station on 101 if you can help.”
Mr Ewels said the Secretary of State for Justice revoked her licence and recalled her to prison for being in breach of the conditions.
Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
