Saturday 12th November 2011, 9:24AM GMT.
More than £130,000 will be used to revamp Market Drayton town centre, council bosses have revealed.
Shropshire Council is allocating £135,000 which will largely be used to regenerate the High Street and surrounding retail area.
There are a number of vacant premises in the conservation area and the grant could help improve buildings, bringing them into use.
