Final tribute to ‘Last Tommy’ Harry Patch

A plaque honouring “The Last Tommy” is to be dedicated in Shropshire tomorrow – Armistice Day.
The plaque will be at Holy Trinity Church in Hadley, where Harry Patch married a local girl in 1919.
Harry died in 2009 aged 111, silencing forever the last of the living voices from World War One’s trenches.
