Hunt for gang of Welshpool attackers

Two men were assaulted and chased by a group of people in Welshpool, police said today.
The men were in Broad Street at 10.15pm on Friday when they were attacked by a man outside the One Stop Shop. When they got to the Co-op car park in Berriew Street the attacker was joined by others who then chased the two men up New Street.
Police, on 0845 3302000, want to speak to a motorist who shouted at the attacker, and a group of women who were outside the Angel pub as the victims walked past.
