Chirk teenager killed in train tragedy

A teenager has died after being struck by a train near the Shropshire/Welsh border.

The young man who died is believed to be an 18-year-old from Chirk, near Oswestry.

He died when he was struck by a train at a railway line at Rhosymedre, Wrexham, on Sunday.

British Transport Police described his death as ‘unexplained’.
